RINGGOLD, GA — George Ray Franklin, 66, died Sunday, February 28, 2010.
A lifelong resident of North Georgia, he retired from Shaw Industries after 40 years of service.
Survivors include his mother, Irene Franklin, Ringgold, GA; sisters, Sandra (Lamar) Harris, Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Susan Franklin, Ringgold, GA, Ellen Mock, Rossville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel with Minister C.G. Griffith officiating.
Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, P. O. Box 19269, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
