Jerry C. Elliott

Jerry C. Elliott, 67, husband of Norma Elliott, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010. He was an owner/operator of Murphy Trailer Sales and a charter member of Gateway Christian Church where he served as both deacon and elder.

Additional survivors include one daughter, Jeri Elliott; one son, Kyle (Jana) Elliott; two grandsons, Ryan and Aaron Elliott, all of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Jim (JoAnn) Elliott of South Haven, MS; two sisters, Barbara (O. T. ) Johnson of Indian Trail, NC and Wanda King of Winchester, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Easter Elliott; and two brothers, Doyle and Farrell Elliott.

Funeral services will be 7 PM, Monday, March 1 2010 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Emery officiating. Friends may visit Monday evening from 5-7 PM at the Taul Funeral Home. Graveside committal services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the West Irvine Cemetery in Irvine, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Ryan Elliott, Aaron Elliott, David Elliott, Darrell Elliott, Christopher Stone, Austin Blackwell, and Edsel Daniel. Honorary pallbearers will be Former elders of Gateway Christian Church and Boyd Marcum. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or Gateway Christian Church Building Fund.
