Held Saturday, Oct. 5

Funeral services for Jasper L. Rhoades, 84, were held from the chapel of Morrison Funeral Home, Saturday morning, October 5, at 10 o'clock.Howard Peacock, minister of 2nd and Grove Street Church of Christ officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mr. Rhoades passed away in Graham, Friday, October 4, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Azey Simpson. He was married to Miss Addeline Hall, September 25, 1884, and had been a member of the church for the past 60 years.

Survivors are two sons, and two daughters; W. J. Rhoades, Bunger; J.N. Rhoades, Yoakum County; Mrs. Azy Simpson, Graham and Mrs. C. C. Grantham, Bunger and 8 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ordra Rhoades, J. L. Rhoades, C. A. Oxford, J. B. Watson, C. R. Burgess and E. M. Fore.
