BRAUNSCHWEIG, PHILIP Charles Braunschweig, 82, of Orlando, died peacefully Friday, September 5, 2008. Husband, father and grandfather, Philip was born in Rochester, NY, August 5, 1926. He graduated from Washington and Lee University in Virginia in 1949 and joined the armed services as a member of the US Air Force. After a successful career in purchasing, he eventually became an owner of Chamberlin Rubber Company in Rochester. Philip retired to Orlando in 1983 and resumed his public service as an arbitrator, a dedicated member of SCORE and a long time certified Master Gardener with the University of Florida Extension office in Seminole County. A lover of travel, music, gardening and photography, Philip will be especially missed by his beloved wife, Erika, three daughters, Carol Braunschweig, Laurie Corbacho and Ann Mosby, and five grandchildren, Elise, Alex, Carly, Sarah and Joseph. Services will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on Thursday, September 18th at 11:30AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
