Ronald Ray Prochaska 37, rural Beloit, died Sunday, August 3, 1997 at Mitchell County Community Hospital in Beloit. He was born May 25, 1960 at Concordia, the son of Marvin and Marjorie Prochaska.

Mr. Prochaska was a lifelong resident of the Simpson and Glasco area. He was a farmer and stockman and member of the ZCBJ Bohemian Hall, near Glasco.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer of the home; a son Ethan of the home; a stepson, Mitch Gaston of the home; his parents, Marvin and Marjorie Prochaska, Simpson; two brothers Marvin Dean, Branson, MO and Richard, Glasco; two sisters, Marilyn Engle, Lena, IL. and Betty Miller, Simpson.

The funeral was held Wednesday, August 6 at ZCBJ Bohemian Hall with Rev. Don Ericson officiating. Casket bearers were Matt Dillon, Ryan Engle, Andy Heidrick, Jeremy Miller, Brandon Prochaska and John Wisbey. Interment was in the Bohemian National Cemetery, Ada.
