Douglas Roy "Doug" Anderson, 60, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away the 28th of February, 2010, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be held at Cure of Ars Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, followed by interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 4, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mr. Anderson was born June 15, 1949, in Pueblo, CO. He was married for 28 years to Peggy Anderson. He had three children and one grandchild. He was happily employed at Window World for the last eight years as a salesman. He was Salesman of the Month several times. He was a graduate of Rockhurst High School (1967) and attended the University of Kansas.

He was preceded by his father James E. Anderson in 1998 and his mother Virginia (Nulty) Anderson in 2009. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife Peggy J. (Parks) Anderson; his three children, Jeremy, Hilary and James; his brother James E. Anderson II; one granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
