Death calls Fred Blake
Inurnment services will be held at Oakmont Cemetery in Concord for 71 year-old Fred E. Blake Sr. A retired butcher, Blake died Wednesday in a Ukiah hospital. He had lived in Ukiah for some two months prior to his death.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi, Ukiah, by six sons, Samuel and Robert Blake, both of Texas; Fred and Ray Blake, both of Concord; Gene Blake, Martinez, and Milton Blake, Arizona. A sister, Mrs. Laura Hurt, Ukiah, and a brother Harold Blake, Sonora, also survive as do 10 grandchildren.
Eversole Mortuary was in charge of local arrangements.
