Gwin E. Ferrington, age 84, of Ocala, died March 27, 2012 at her home. She was born on July 4, 1927, in Lisbon, North Dakota, a daughter to the late Earl and Glade Barber. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, George. She was a retired home economics teacher and enjoyed needlecraft, baking and writing. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, two sons, Gregory John Ferrington in Michigan, Jeffery Allen Ferrington in Clearwater, an adopted daughter Christina Lynn Thompson and one grandson. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County.
