Henry K. Kunc, son of Anton and Anna M. Kunc was born April 19, 1892, on a farm north of Ada, and died in the St. Joseph Hospital at Concordia on December 4, 1962, at the age 70 years.

He was a life long resident of Ottawa County except while he served in the armed forces during World War I. Most of his life was spent on the farm where he was living at the time of his death. During his early years he operated a garage in Delphos.

He was a member of the Methodist church at Ada, the VFW at Minneapolis and the ZCBJ Lodge of Glasco.

On April 16, 1936, he was united in marriage to Anna M. Yager at Burlington, Colorado. Surviving him are his widow, Anna, two brothers, George of Corpus Christi, Texas, now on Kwajalein Island in the South Pacific, and Paul of Smith Center. One sister, Clara, preceded him in death. He is also survived by a niece, Mrs. Marianna Jordan of Glasco, and a nephew, Kenneth Kunc of Corpus Christi, Texas, and many other relatives and friends.

He will be remembered as a loving husband and a considerate neighbor, ready to help others in the spirit of joy and gladness.

Funeral services were held at the Dean Funeral Home in Glasco Friday, Dec. 7, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. J. Ralph Watkins and the Rev. Forest Good officiating.

Miss Redonda Bacon was the organist and Keith Bacon was the singer. Pallbearers were Roger Yager, Keith Yager, Kenneth Yager, John Darrow, Jack Jordan and Bill Boucek.

The Minneapolis V.F.W. had charge of military graveside services. Burial was in the Bohemian National Cemetery.
