John D. Wynn of Route 1, Arcadia died last Sat., July 17 in the Arcadia General Hospital, following a lingering illness. He was 74 years of age.
Mr. Wynn, who was born in Hamilton County, Fla. had been a resident of Desoto County for about 39 years. Prior to his illness he had been a citrus worker.
Surviving are: three sons, Crockett Wynn of Arcadia; Vernon Wynn of Visalia, Ca.; Robert L. Wynn of Merced, Ca.; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Montgomery of Bokeelia, Fla.; Mrs. Ossie Montgomery of Arcadia; Mrs. Irene Dolan of Teaneck, N.J.; one brother, Jessie Wynn of Jasper, Fla.
Funeral services were held last Monday at the Robarts Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Morris Hawley of Nocatee officiated. Burial was at Kabrich Cemetery in Nocatee. Pallbearers were: Buck Wever, Barney McLain, Charles Kabrich, Stanley Nicholson, Leo Dees, John Parker
