SHOT & KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY
Sgt. Brown along with other officers of his squad were serving a warrant at 2211 University Blvd. in Adelphi. As they approached the building they were fired upon by the suspect. Sgt. Brown was killed and two other officers were wounded. Sgt. Brown was survived by his wife and 1 child.
Sgt Brown served in the United States Marine Corps from 1951-1954 and then served two years on the Tacoma Park Police Department before joining Prince George's County Police.
