KENTON -- A memorial service for Jean Steiner, 74, of Kenton, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Price Funeral Home, Kenton, with Pastor Jeff Waite officiating. Burial will be in Dunkirk Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2010 at Price Funeral Home, Kenton and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Steiner died at 12:43 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
Jean was born on November 27, 1935 in Tupelo, MS to Bernard and Nellie Ben (Sorell) Hollingsworth. She married Robert Steiner on September 19, 1953, and he survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are a son, Craig (Julie) Steiner, Kenton; 3 grandchildren, Brianne, Kristie and Bobby; a twin sister, Joan (George) Schreiner, Davis, Ill.
Preceding her in death are two sons, Denis W. and William "Billy" Steiner.
Jean was a homemaker, secretary with Hardin County Commissioners and retired from OSU Extension District Office in Findlay.
She was a member of the Walnut Grove Church, the Hardin County Geneology Society and the YMCA.
Memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
