Spouse of Jodie L Lasseter∼Mrs. Dovie Watson Lasseter Woods, 88 of Sparks, died Sunday in Memorial Convalescent Center in Adel due to a lengthy illness. Her parents were the late Joseph Watson and the late Angeline Coleman Watson. She is the widow of Gene Woods. She is survived by four sons Edward Lasseter of Madison, Florida, Elmer Lasseter of Dothan, Ala, Julius Lasseter of Sparks Georgia and Charles Lasseter of Lee, Florida. Four daughters Louise Thigpen, Opal Joiner, Louelle Ray all of Sparks and Lola Grace Thigpen of Madison, Florida. One brother Toombs Watson of Sparks, two sisters Leila Mae Folds of Adel and Emma Bennett of Sparks, 31 grandchildren and 73 great grandchildren, 16 great=great=great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 4:00 P.M. today in the Community Calvary Holiness Church with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Interment will be in Wilkes Cemetery, Boone Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
