Funeral services for John P. Considine were held from the Catholic church here Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Mr. Considine formerly lived on a farm near here and moved from here to Halstead where he resided until death. Burial was in Calvary cemetery.
John Patrick Considine was born at Holy Cross, Dubuque county, Iowa, April 11, 1861 and died at Halstead July 7, 1922, aged 61 years, 2 months and 26 days. He was married to Miss Katherine Agnes Burke April 26, 1886 and to this union three children were born, James Considine of Columbus City, Ind. and Mary and Johnnie Considine of Halstead. His wife died July 17, 1904. He was married again to Miss Anna Josephine Schneider of Burlington on November 8, 1905. To this union four children were born, Michael, Katherine, Anna Margarette and Genevieve Rose, all of whom are living at home. Mr. and Mrs. Considine and family moved from their farm near Burlington to a farm near Halstead on November 20, 1907. In 1919 the family moved to Halstead where they lived until the time of his death.

John Considine, 61 years old, who died at the hospital Friday night, was sent to Burlington, Kans., his former home, for burial. He leaves besides his wife, three children and four children from a second marriage. Mr. Considine came to Halstead township in 1907 and about five years ago came to Halstead. He had owned several farms in Halstead township.
