Allie Smith Chambers, youngest of 10 children of William J and Betty E Chambers. All of whom, including his parents, are buried in Maple Hill Cemetery. He was the husband of Bertha Sanderson Chambers, father of two daughters, Betty Marvolene and Annile Chambers Hemingway. He dedicated his life to teaching school in area County schools, and most importantly, to preaching the Gospel. His influence blessed many lives; mine in particular, his oldest granddaughter.
