Martha was the sister of
William Emery Neudorff, Herbert A. Neudorff Jr. Julia Ann ( Charles A.) Mumper, Rose Mary (Delbert) Ollison, and Georgia "Ellen" (Neudorff) Wright.
She married Walter Theodore Drannan in 1942 and they later divorced. She then married Ray E. Burton in 1973.
Martha was a pharmacy clerk at Muir Pharmacy, a nurses aide at the former Sister's Hospital, a nutritionist for the University of Missouri Extension Center, a cook at Lafayette High School, and a homemaker. She was of the Catholick faith. Martha was a Cub Scout Leader, and enjoyed playing bingo. Martha and her late husband, Ray, enjoyed spending time at Big Lake and being active in the Local 101 Operating Engineers Retirees Organization. Besides four of her children and their spouses, she was survived by a sister, Rose Mary Olllison, Whittier, CA; daughter-in-law, Twyla Beeny, Easton, MO; step-daughters, Billie Hahn, Colleen Jacobs and Doris Elen Stobaugh, all of St. Joseph; 12 grandchildren, 13 great and 3 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Vickie Widner, Sharon Ray, and Larry & Andy Matt (Cabbage Roll Deli). Celebration of Life: 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 10th at Gladden-Starney Funeral Home, St. Joseph, MO.
