CENTERVILLE--Martha Lindvang, age 96, passed away on April 8, 1993 in her home in Centerville.

She was born on May 12, 1896 to Nils and Maren Jensen Lindvang in Copenhagen, Denmark. She immigrated to the United States in 1922, and had been a resident of Reno, Nevada for 63 years until she moved to the Bountiful, Utah area eight years ago to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and John Woodbury.

She was a member of Queen Esther Rebekah Lodge No. 9, Sparks, Nevada, Tom Sawyer and Silverada Seniors, Reno. She received special recognition and brought much happiness to the many recipients of her lovely hand knitted and crocheted articles. She will also be remembered for her baking of hundreds of Danish Pound Cakes and other Danish Pastries.

Her son, Allan, of Reno preceded her in death. She was the youngest of six sisters and one brother all of whom also preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughters, Norma Ball and husband Hank, Reno; and Audrey Woodbury and husband John, Centerville; grandchildren: Michael Ball, Reno; Terry Harrison, Sparks; Kristiane De Chenne and husband David, Elgin, Oregon; Lissa Woodbury and husband, Dr. Welby Jensen, Layton; Scott and Wendy Woodbury, Centerville, and Michael and Janice Woodbury, Flower Mound, Texas; daughter-in-law Jeanne Brinkley, Elgin, Oregon; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 12, 1993, 12:00 noon, at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends may call Sunday evening 6-8:00 p.m. and Monday morning, one hour prior to services. Interment: Centerville City Cemetery.
