On Dec. 1, 1866 she was united in marriage to Joseph Robinson at East Port, Long Island, NY.
Mr. Robinson was previously a soldier in the Union army. Two years after their marriage they pioneered in Fairbault County, MN and in July 1881 came to South Dakota, where they filed on land in McCook County, near Monroe. Mr. Robinson died at his McCook home on Jan. 15, 1916.
Three of seven children survive Mrs. Robinson. The children are Mrs. Amy Still, Parker and George Robinson and Preston Robinson of near Monroe. Brothers and sisters surviving are three brothers, Amos Goodrich, who lives in Canada, Webster and Edwin Goodrich who live in Minnesota and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Parks and Mrs. Susan Pond, also of Minnesota; one sister, Mrs. Rose, died here several years ago.
