Obituary:
Harley Leon Frank was born June 14, 1918 on a farm southwest of Gotebo to Charlie and Lillie Frank and departed this world Feb. 14, 2002.
He married Winnie Opal Hurst 63 years ago and to this union were born four sons and one daughter. Harley was a resident of the Gotebo community for 82 years and moved to Mountain View in 2000.
Harley was a steward of the land and an overseer of many herds of cattle. He is one of the few of his generation left whose word was his bond and a handshake sealed a deal. He was an honest, upstanding citizen, farmer, rancher, father, grandfather and husband. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife; children, Kenneth and wife Brenda of Mtn. View, Burl Dean of Grand Junction CO, LaMarr and wife Carlotta of Cushing OK, Richard and wife Ann of Arlington TX; three sisters, Edna Leiphardt of Mtn. View, Beulah Terrell and husband Charles of Pampa TX and Ethel Waller of Elba AL; 10 grandchildren, 13 greata-grandcchildren,one on the wayand a host of other relatives and friends.
