Fred Strattan, 84, West Middleton, died Friday at 2 a.m. He had been in failing health for three years.
The son of Joseph and Jane (Thomas) Strattan, he was born May 6, 1880, near West Middleton and had lived in that area all his life.
He was married in 1904 to Lola Earlywine who survives with one son, Edgar, Mooresville; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Jenny) Duncan, Indianapolis, and one grandchild.
One daughter, two sisters, and four brothers are deceased.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the West Middleton Friends Church, where Strattan was a member. The Rev. Clayton Horine will officiate, and burial will be in the New London Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Stout and Son Funeral Home, Russiaville, after 5 p.m. today (Saturday), or at the church for one hour preceding the services.
