LOS ALAMITOS. Calif.—Services for Ruby Juanita Earlywine, 77, of Alamitos West Convalescent Center and formerly of Kokomo, Ind., will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Ellers Mortuary in Kokomo. The Rev. Paul Enochs will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
Earlywine died at 8:35 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 1987, in Los Alamitos. She was born Jan. 17, 1909, in Summitville, Ind., a daughter of Alvie and Anna (Freeland) Ice.

Earlywine had been a teacher at Real Life Play School; in Kokomo. She was an amateur artist and had won awards at Tipton Pork Festival. She played the piano and sang professionally in New Orleans, Las Vegas and Kokomo Moose Lodge.
She had been a member of Kokomo Women of the Moose and Order of Eastern Star in Huntington Park, Calif.
Surviving are three sons, Jack T. Earlywine of Kokomo, Bill D. Earlywine of Los Alamitos and Bob G. Earlywine of Whittier, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. H. Eugene (Barbara) McGaha of Kokomo; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
