There is a Giles Street in Mineola after a Civil War officer who made his home in Mineola after the War. I thought that was interesting. It is a pretty area of Texas in the Big Piney Woods the kids and I drove over to check it out while we lived in Arlington, Texas. We visited the cemetery but found nothing marked to know where the graves are. Its a pretty cemetery on rolling hills. We stopped at a tiny RR museum and looked at the things they had.
