Lena Vena/Vina O'Bryan -
She was a daughter of George Washington O'Bryan (Feb. 1849-July 14, 1919) native of Washington County, VA and Anna Maria Hager (Apr. 3, 1851-June 7, 1935) native of Clay Twp., Clark County, MO. These parents were married Sept. 11, 1872 in Monroe County, Missouri.
They had eight children:
(1) Lena Vina (or Vena) - SEE BELOW
(2) Laura Frances (22 Oct 1877-30 Mar 1956) wife of Charles Brady (1871-1951) on 17 Feb 1897.
(3) Anna Virginia (12 Jan 1879-29 Nov 1970) wife of Claude M. Byrum.
(4) James Lee (12 Jul 1882-18 Nov 1956) who married Ida May Roberson.
(5) Walter Cleveland (16 Nov 1885-Mar 1983) who married Nellie Grace Wood (24 Jun 1882-Jul 1975).
(6) George Vest (18 Apr 1888-8 Nov 1935) who married Erna Dabke (10 Aug 1893-15 Dec 1974), native of Kiel, Germany.
(7) Archie Commodore (27 Mar 1891-10 Jun 1956) who married Elizabeth "Bess" Fraseur (10 Oct 1892-15 Mar1988).
(8) An unknown child was born and died between 1880 and 1900.
Lena married Martin Wesley Moxley (24 Jun 1869-4 Mar 1933) eldest son of Washington Moxley and Alice Maria Kitchen. About 1897 they moved to California with their first child. They lived in Merced, Santa Rosa, and Long Beach. They had three more children: Orien Wesley, Martin Lowell, Faye Ione, and Maurine Eleanor.
