ADA GRACE PARSELL STEIGER 83, of Upland, California has passed away peacefully on February 23, 2010.
She was born September 21, 1926 in Clymer, PA to Albert and Martha Shank.
Ada was a proud and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved to work with children and she loved to crochet for herself along with crocheting gifts for the Military men and women who serve our Country and also for those families that are in need for themselves and their babies. She was very active with her church. Ada was also a contributor to many charities.
She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her family, friends and those who knew her.
Ada is survived by her sister Lena Atkins of Colombia, PA; son-in-law, Robert Rausin of Grand Junction, CO; 4 grand- children Robert L. (Wendy) Rausin of Rifle, CO; April (Mike) Addington of Chandler, AZ; Stephanie Rollins of Fontana, CA; and Christina Parsell Sauceda of Pomona, CA; 4 great-grandchildren Deborah, Robby & Kimberly Rausin of Rifle, CO; Dillon Parsell of Fontana, CA. 1 great-great grandson, Aidan Rausin of Rifle, CO. Her wonderful church family, best friends Barb, Maggie, Rita, Delores, Joan, Ana, Arely and Berta. Cliff son's children adopted her as their grandmother, Terri, Riley and Gwynne of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband Robert F. Parsell (1986), 2nd husband Clifford L. Steiger (2004), a daughter Diana Rausin, her son Robert M. Parsell, a sister Donna and 5 brothers Dale, Horace, Robert, Richard and Dennis.
There will be a viewing on March 9th, 2010 at Stone Funeral Home from 9AM to 11AM and the services will follow right after at 11AM. There will also be a burial at 1:31PM at Riverside National Cemetery.
