His widow, Jeanie Binsted brought her three children, Edward Henry (9), Edith Mary (7), and John Norman (2) and the body of her late husband back to Toronto on the train, where she had a brother, Gordon Wallace, a sister Mary Wallace McClellan and her mother, Elizabeth O'Brien Wallace.
Percy Edward died of a fractured skull and was interred at St. John's Norway Cemetery, Toronto, July 30, 1916.
