William Arthur Fain, 76, Athens, died Thursday at the Athens-Limestone Hospital.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. Elzie Jones and the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Townsend Fain of Athens; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Crews, Mrs. Dorothy Watson and Mrs. Margaret Bates, all of Athens; one stepson, Herbert Carter of Owens, GA; three brothers, Thomas Fain, Robert Fain and Mason Fain, all of Athens; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
