SIMPSON — Lola I. Pritchett, 96, Simpson, died Tuesday, Feb. 23,1999, at Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit. Mrs. Pritchett was born Lola I. Evert on July 18, 1902, at rural Simpson. She was a member of the Simpson and Glasco senior centers and Simpson Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Van Hesser, in 1959; her second husband, Carl; a son, Norman Neal Hesser; a stepson David; and a stepdaughter, Virginia Dragoo.

Survivors include a daughter, Parlene Evans of Lexington, S.C.; a son, Fred Hesser of Glasco; a stepson, James of Florida; a stepdaughter, Mary Jo Stortz of Concordia; a sister, Mabel Horn of Simpson; 10 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and 24 step-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Simpson Community Church, the Rev. Ray Gilstrap officiating. Burial will be in the Simpson Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church, Simpson Community Support Fund or Glasco Senior Center. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Dean Funeral Home, 301 E. Main, Glasco 67445
