Wife of Stephen Thayer. Married: 17 NOV 1798 in Massachusetts.

Stephen Thayer passed away in 1842, and his wife following him in 1865. They were buried in the McCarty graveyard, but about 1885 their remains were removed to the Oakland cemetery, where a suitable monument on the Thayer plot marks their resting place.

When Martha Thayer died in 1865, it is said she left 165 descendants.
