Mr. James Claude Faulk, 69, of 1427 Glover St., Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 1962, at a local infirmary. Funeral services will be conducted at Elliott Sons Chapel Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The Rev. J.E. Pollock officiating. Interment will be in West View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry C. Price, George R. Edenfield, E.D. Price, Nathan Price, Jim Edenfield and Donnie D. Faulk. A native of Emanuel County, Georgia, Mr. Faulk had lived in Augusta for 40 years. He was the son of the late Robert J. and Fannie Faircloth Faulk, Georgia families. He was a member of the Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Dosie Meeks Faulk, he is survived by a son, James Claude Faulk Jr. of Augusta; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin Collins of Huntsville, Ala.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Edward Hunt and Mrs. M.T. Ashley, both of Augusta; two brothers. Dewitt Faulk and R.J. Faulk, both of Augusta; two sisters, Mrs. Steely Edenfield, Swainsboro, Ga., and Mrs. W.W. Price of Augusta; four grandchildren and number of nieces and nephews. Elliott Sons.
