Mrs. Allgood was born Elizabeth Wolfe on Sept. 28, 1885, on a farm north of Solomon. she and her husband owned and operated the Allgood Grocery Store and Standard Oil Co., Solomon, for many years. She worked for the Solomon Valley Tribune for 33 years, retiring in 1962. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Solomon.
Her husband Ernest, died in 1929.
