Joan M.E. Ammerman Mason Age 71, died March 8, 2010. She was born in Fowlerville, MI October 19, 1938 to Joseph and Thelma Sterle. Her biggest joys in life included family get-togethers, reading, playing cards, going to casinos and chatting with family and friends. Preceded in death by her son, Michael (1962). Surviving are her husband of nearly 51 years and childhood sweetheart since 12 years of age, Archy. Together they owned and operated Lansing Mason Ambulance, formerly Archy's Ambulance and Archy's Rock Shop. Also surviving are sons Kenneth, Kevin (Lera), Kyle (Maddie); grandchildren, Brittany (Jesse Trainer), Kevin, Zachary and Gennifer Ammerman, and Lonnie Johnson, Jr.; great-grandson, Seven Trainer; brother, Larry (Jackie) Sterle; brother-in-law, Charlie (Marlene) Ammerman; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Mason, MI with the Rev. Charles Krueger officiating.
