Paul LeRoy Abrisz, age 65, 1015 South Leebrick, Burlington, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 1994 at Burlington Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 28, 1929 in Burlington, the son of J. Herbert and Dora Trosen Abrisz. He married Nellie Kuntz Sept. 28, 1957 at Winfield.

Mr. Abrisz was a service representative for Pitney Bowes for 20 years, owned and operated Mr. Power Clean of Burlington, custodian for St. Paul's Catholic School and previous at Notre Dame, and a school bus driver for Burlington area Catholic schools.

He was affiliated with Finley Chapel Methodist Church, Wayland. He belonged to Farm Bureau Rural Youth of Des Moines and Henry County. He graduated from Olds High School in 1948 and attended Burlington Junior College.

Mr. Abrisz served during the Korean War from 1951-53 in the Army and was attached to the Central Intelligence Dept.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie, Burlington; son David, Albuquerque, NM; daughter Ruthann Mennen, Burlington; sister Joyce Davis, New London; brother Carl, Perris, CA; mother Dora, Winfield; 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and 1 grandchild.

Services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 1994 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Father Carl Leveling officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park, Burlington.

A memorial for the education of his grandchildren has been established.
