Born February 13, 1938, in Westminster, Md., Janet was the daughter of the late Clifford, Sr. and Rose Marie (Franklin) Parry.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, member of Triangle #483 Order of the Eastern Star, and a former member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Janet and her late husband Claude were founders of the Shrewsbury Girls Athletic Club and she was a former coach of its traveling softball team. She retired from Lucent Technologies, Hunt Valley, Md., after 38 years of service.
Surviving are her daughter, Cathy L. Wyant of Shrewsbury; son, Claude L. Wyant, Jr. and his wife, Candace of Smithsburg, Md.; brother, John Parry and his wife, Shirley of Florida; and two sisters, May Luffy of Ocean City, Md., and Blodwen Scattergood and her husband, Jack of New Freedom.
Burial will be in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
