MRS. JACKSON OF CROSS ANCHOR IS TAKEN BY DEATH. Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth Bobo Jackson, wife of George M. Jackson, well known resident of Cross Anchor, SC, died in a local hospital on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 21, 1943, following a brief illness. Mrs. Jackson was a native, and lived in Cross Anchor, SC community all her life. She was an active member of the New Hope Baptist Church at Cross Anchor, SC. She is survived by her husband; two sons, W. W. Jackson and Ernest Jackson; two daughters, Mrs. Wales Johnson and Mrs. Y. N. Pollard; three brothers, Luther Bobo, John Bobo and Ernest Bobo; three sisters, Mrs. N. F. Craig, Mrs. Anna Bobo Waldrip and Mrs. Ada Bobo Lyles; four grandchildren. She was 64 years of age at demise and interment was in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
