Christina "Cristy" Lynne Johnson Matthews-Class of 1982, was born in Pasadena, Texas on December 25, 1963. She graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1982. She attended San Jacinto and Lee Colleges and was currently attending Interactive Learning Systems, and was working at Neighborhood Centers of Pasadena as a computer educator.
Cristy is preceded in death by her father Woody Johnson, and sister Cindy Pittman. She is survived by her mother Linda Robison, and step-father Lee; son, Eric Lawless; first husband, Ricky Lawless; daughter, Danielle Matthews; second husband, Wayne Matthews; sisters, Regina Johnson, Rebecca Johnson-Ball and husband Rick; nephews, Brandon and Bryan Ball; nieces, Brianna Johnson-Martinez and Samantha Ball; friend and counselor Cathryn Councill and special family at the Destiny Village Apartments where Cristy resided.
A funeral service was held at SouthPark Funeral Home Tuesday, January 23, 2007. Interment at SouthPark Cemetery.
