Marian Bunnell
NORWAY--Marian Agnes Bunnell, 82, of Pembine, Wis., formerly of Hamilton Lakes and Rochester, Minn., died Friday at Maryhill Manor in Niagara, Wis.
Mrs. Bunnell was born Feb. 2, 1913 in Port Arthur, Ontario Canada, daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret (Wandell) Schmidt and was the last surviving child of 19 children.
She was raised by an older sister and her husband, Ann and Alfred Rognas in Minneapolis, Minn.
Mrs. Bunnell was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Norway, the church choir, the Covenant Women, and Pembine Senior Citizens.
She was a Tupperware dealer for five years in Rochester, Minn. and was named the top dealer in the Rochester area in 1976.
She leaves two sons, Lester Bunnell Jr., master chief petty officer with the United States Navy in Rochester, Minn. and Bruce (Helen) Bunnell of Albert Lea, Minn.; two daughters, Barbara (Louis) Linsmeyer of Pembine, Wis. and Marian Jean (Francis) Severson of Grand Meadow, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; 10 step-grandchildren; 21 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bruce (Tuffer) Bunnell.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the Miner Funeral Home in Norway. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Evangelical Covenant Church in Norway. Rev. James Danielson will officiate. Burial will be in the Pembine Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Gordon and Jeffrey Skog, David Severson, and Thomas and Gregory Linsmeyer.
