Bio information for the memorial (#49583612) for my great-great-grandfather Ole Johnson Almlie:
Ole Johnson Evjebakken, son of John Anderssen Kirkebye and Marit Rollaugsdatter was born on December 17, 1818 (the memorial says 1878). In June 1841 he married Karen (Kari) Hemmingsdatter daughter of Hemming Thonassen and Marit Olsdatter Lille Krogstad in the Meraker church. From 1841 to 1876 they lived on the farms Sillermoen(NW of Meraker) and Almlisve (in Hegra). Ole and Kari had the following children.
Hemming Olsen 1841-1867 (drown in a logging accident in the Vidga River)
John Olsen Silrum 1844-1925
Marit Olsdatter 1847-1923
Thomas Olsen Silrum
John Olsen Almlie 1855-1952
Ane Marie Olsdatter 1858-1920
Ole Olsen Almlie 1861-1925
In May 1876 the whole family left Trondheim for Wells, Minnesota on the Tasso. Between Trondheim and Hull, England Kari became ill with pneumonia and died. She was buried in Hull, England.
In America they took the surname Almlie or Silrum after the two farms they had lived on in Norway.

Ole had the following siblings (they all stayed in Norway):
Anders Evjebakken 1797-1830
Ingeborg Evjebakken 1799-
Rollaug Evjebakken 1801-1863
Erik Jonsen Evjebakken 1804-1863
Hemming Evjebakken 1807-
Mali Evjebakken 1809-
John Evjebakken 1813-
Ola Evjebakken 1816-

The above information is from the The Almlie-Silrum Family History 1480-1980 complied by Marian Skartvedt in 1980. I added a photo of Ole J. Almlie's tombstone that I took in 2012 to his memorial. It's hard to read but his birth year is 1818.
I added the information on Kari since she was buried in England and doesn't have a memorial at Bethany.
For years I didn't understand why the Silrums were coming to our Almlie (my grandmother was an Almlie) picnics until I started genealogy and found out they all came from the same parents.
