"William Harry Young, 64, a resident of the Meadville community all his life except for eight years, died this morning at a nursing home in Chillicothe.

For the last 11 years, until he became ill several months ago, he was employed by the Missouri Conservation Commission at Fountain Grove and Swan Lake. Mr. Young was born March 17, 1895, near Meadville, a son of Josiah T. and Nancy (Weidenhammer) Young. He married Alta Baker on Feb. 8, 1916.

Surviving are the wife; three sons, Merle Austin Young of Meadville, Lloyd Alvin Young of Pueblo, Colo., and Carl Reed Young of Evansville, Ia.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Woolsey of Canon City, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Meadville Methodist Church. The Rev. Morton Holman will officiate." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, March 9, 1959
