J.W. Manning 56 years old, died Tuesday morning at the Lucius Olen Crosby Memorial Hospital. His wife died here in May.
Funeral services are pending awaiting the arrival of Norman G. Manning from Turkey where he is on duty with the Air Force.
Services probably will be held friday.

J. W. Manning who died last week was buried Friday in Palestine Cemetery after services in the Goodyear Baptist Church. He is survived by his son Major Norman Gene Manning of the U S Army, and one grandchild, his mother, Mrs Jona Manning of Gulfport, Miss. He had lived on Bay Street for 40 years.
He was born May 12, 1912.
The Rev Grice was in charge of the service, with McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
