Jerre P. Trout, 77, former Bart Twp. magistrate, dies
Jerre P. Trout, seventy-seven, former justice of the peace and deputy coroner in Bart Twp., died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at his home in Quarryville R3.
He was born in Bart Twp., a son of the late Frank M. and S. Alice Cooper Trout and was the husband of the late Alice N. Lynch Trout.
He was a surveyor for over 50 years and retired from farming in 1947. He was a member of the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are these sons and daughters: Harold L. Trout, Conestoga R1; Mabelle E., wife of Carl Probst, Quarryville; Helen L., wife of Morton Witmer, Strasburg R1; Ralph C.,Oxford R2; Geraldine C., wife of Archie Seats, Christiana R1; Rev. Wayne R. Trout, Dover, Del.; Jerre P. Jr. and Clara Mae, wife of William Badger, both of Wilmington, Del.
Additional survivors include 25 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Clara M. Orndorff, Coatesville; W. Blanche, wife of Ross Yuninger, Quarryville R3 and Elsie V. Daft, Jacksonville, Fla.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, Quarryville R3, Saturday 2 P.M. Interment in Georgetown Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brown Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth St., Christiana, Friday evening.
