Funeral for Martha A. Agee, 91, of Decatur will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Pat Brock officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Agee died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born Jan. 29, 1909, in Lawrence County to John D. Agee and Mae Smith Agee.
She retired from Hobart Laboratories in Chicago as a floor supervisor and had lived in Decatur for 26 years. She was a member of Christian Science Church and the widow of William Henry Peebles.
Survivors include three sons, James Howard Peebles of San Antonio, Kyle Donald Peebles of Decatur, and Stanley Peebles of Lemont, Ill.; one daughter, Mary Jeanette Vacarella of Rosemont, Ill.; one brother, John Agee of Houston; one sister, Marline Emmons of Port Townsend, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
