Harvey E. White, 94, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010, in a local hospital. A native of Hardin County, TN, he has been a resident of the Chattanooga, TN area for the past 65 years. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the 103rd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army and was a member of Hickory Valley Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Edith White; daughter and her husband, Judie and Michael Harper, Chattanooga, TN; son and his wife, Paul and Jackie White; two grandchildren, Paul and Michelle Harper; three great-grandchildren; sister, Mary McCasland, Savannah, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dale Lovelady officiating.

Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN.
