He was the son of Larry Brown and Cathy Long. He grew up here and graduated from McAlester High School in 2004. He had been a member of the school band through all of his junior high and high school years. He enjoyed hunting and playing video games and hanging out with his friends. He was a student in college and had been working at Webcoat for over a year. He was a resident of the Peaceable area and died at his home at the age of 21. Survivors include his mother, Cathy Long, of Alderson; father, Larry Brown, of the home at Peaceable; one brother, Caleb Eli Brown, of the home; grandparents, Virginia Brown, of Peaceable, Harold and Joyce Long, of Alderson, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Willard Lee Brown in 1991. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17 at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery in Bache. Burial will be at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery.
