TAKEN ILL ON CAR, SOON DIES
George Alles, 53 years old, of 2851 South Eighteenth street, became ill on a Union car while on his way to work at the Wrought Iron Range Co.'s plant, Clara and Natural Bridge avenues, this morning. He was assisted from the car and taken into a saloon at 5618 Natural Bridge avenue, where he died after dropping into a chair.
A physician who examined him expressed opinion that death was due to natural causes. Fred Alles, a son, told the police that his father had been taking medicine for rheumatism.

Funeral on Friday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m., from the residence, 2851 South Eighteenth street, to New St. Marcus Cemetery. Motor.
