Harry Tomlinson of Bamberg was the son of Stoll Dana Tomlinson and Virginia Ann Williams. At one time he was the mayor of Olanta. He served as the Superintendent of the Edisto Electric Cooperative and was a member of the board of directors of the Central Electric Cooperative, a Lion, a Mason, and a member of the Bamberg Hunting Club. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Olanta. Surviving are his widow, Delle Moore Tomlinson, a son Michael and a daughter Frances. He was the brother to Ulrich, Margaret, Hubert, Ben, Cecil and Helen.
