"PHOENIX, Ariz. ~ Funeral services were held recently in Phoenix, Ariz. in the First LDS Ward Chapel, for John Patterson Keller, 82, of Phoenix, who died May 17, 1972, in Phoenix.

Born Nov. 20, 1889, to William L. and Lillis Ellean Simmons Keller near King City in Gentry County, Mo.; Married Lillian E. Olorenshaw in 1917. Moved with his parents to Salt Lake City in 1900. Worked for Western Machinery Co., Salt Lake City; later opened branch offices in San Francisco and Phoenix. His company grew under his direction to one of the largest mining construction and engineering equipment firms in the state.

Survivors: Widow; son, daughters; Ralph M., Phoenix; Mrs. Shirley Little, Los Altos, Calif.; Louise Pearce, La Mesa, Calif.; brothers, Walter M., James H., both Salt Lake City; Jesse, Lynwood, Calif.; Paul E., Chicago, Ill.; sister, Mrs. Mary Burleson, Lynwood, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren."
