FAYETTEVILLE — Dorothy Lou Stover Blake, 84, of Rt. 1, Fayetteville, formerly of Mossy, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill.

She was born August 23, 1925, in Kingston, W.Va. Her parents, Charlie and Ada Thompson Stover, preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and attended Church of God at Mossy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bernard Blake, on January 14, 2003; two brothers, Kenneth Stover and James Stover.

Survivors include one son, Bernard Blake and wife, Helen, of Rt. 1 Fayetteville; two daughters, Sandra Blake of Hunterville, N.C., and Sherry Blake Hoare and husband, Jack, of Oldwick, N.J.; one brother, Perry Stover and wife, Thelma, of Rt. 1, Scarbro; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Betty Lusk. Entombment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Prosperity.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, March 15, at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill.
