Saltillo, TN - Thomas Dewey Alexander, 87, farmer, died Friday at the Decatur County Hospital in Parsons.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Savannah with burial in Milledgeville Cemetery.
He was a member of the Enville United Methodist Church.
Mr. Alexander, the husband of Lois Evalenia Wicker Alexander, also leaves three daughters, Martha Jane Prince of Southaven, MS, Mary Ruth Miller of Bethel Springs and Margaret Lois Walker of Germantown; four sons, Bobby Gene Alexander of Scotts Hill, Billy Dewaine Alexander of Byhalia, MS, Buddy Frank Alexander of Sardis and Johnny Mack Alexander of Milledgeville; a brother, Stinson Alexander of Saltillo; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, PFC Thomas Roy Alexander, who was killed in Korea; and two daughters, Eva Lou Alexander and Neva Sue Alexander.
He married Lois Evalenia Wicker, May 5, 1929, Hardin Co, TN.
