Services Tuesday for Mrs. Ballard
Mrs. Addie Marie (Coleman) Ballard, 68, of 531 N. Independence, died Saturday morning at her home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday morning from the Leatherman-Morris Funeral Home with Rev Kenneth Mitchner officiating and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime.

Mrs. Ballard was born December 29, 1897 in Tipton, daughter of Joseph Austin and Ida Viola (Sharp) Coleman. She was married to Alva Ballard in Tipton, April 23, 1916, and he preceded her in death August 15, 1958. Two sons died in infancy. She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Frieda) Johnson of Kokomo; three sons, Robert Dale Ballard and Jimmie Roscoe Ballard of Tipton; and William Doyle Ballard of Daleville; three brothers, Jesse Warren Coleman, of St Petersburg, Florida; William Doyle Coleman of Tipton and Rev Roscoe Clyde Coleman of Summitville; 12 grandchildren.
