Priscilla Aaron was a native of Sebring FL. The youngest child of J.E. & Annie Mae Aaron, she attended E.O.Douglas and graduated from Sebring High School in 1967. She received an associate of arts degreefrom South Florida community College before moving to Washington d.C. where she worked first for the FBI, and later for the Dept. of the Treasury. After returning to Sebring in 1994, she worked for a number of community organizations and SFCC before earning her bachelors degree. She later taught business and information technology at Sebring High School, a position from which she recently retired. Ms. Aaron was raised in Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church. Upon her return to sebring, she reunited with the now Greater Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church, where she served in a number of capacities, including church secretary. Ms. Aaron was involved in many civic activities and organiziations, serving for some time as president of the local chpter of the Ntional Council of Negro Women. She supported many school and educational programs, tutoring, boosting sports and the arts, and fundraising for scholarships. She was preceded in death by her parents & 2 brothers. She is survived by 5 brothers, one sister, many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and 2 faithful canine companions. Funeral arrangements were handled by Swann Mortuary, 500 Lemon St, Sebring FL. She is buried next to her mother, Annie M. Aaron.
